About Fr. Piotr Prusakiewicz, CSMA:

Fr. Peter (who currently resides in the General House of the Congregation of St Michael the Archangel located in Marki, Poland) is a well-travelled international speaker for over twenty years and has spoken at many conferences, retreats and parish missions all over the world.

Fr. Peter By God’s providence from 1993 – 1996, Father Peter served as chaplain to the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in Warsaw where Saint Faustina started her religious life. For over twenty years with great missionary zeal, he has travelled to 36 countries proclaiming and explaining The Divine Mercy devotion. His main charism and expertise is on St Michael the Archangel and the Holy Angels which has led to him becoming a sought after inspirational speaker on these topics and the Divine Mercy.

During the Jubilee Year in Rome, you will pass through the 4 Holy Doors located in the 4 major Basilicas.
Day 1 | Sunday, October 26: Arrival in Rome

Arrive in Rome and transfer to your accommodation. Evening at leisure to rest after your journey or enjoy a brief stroll around your hotel’s surroundings to get your first glimpse of the Eternal City. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2 | Monday, October 27: Rome to Naples (via Monte Cassino and Pompeii)

Morning: Departure for Monte Cassino (3h by bus) to visit the Abbey: Discover the historic Benedictine monastery, rebuilt after WWII, and enjoy its serene setting and historical significance. Afternoon: Departure for Pompeii Archaeological Site (1h by bus): Walk through the preserved ruins of the ancient Roman city, buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, and imagine life in its bustling streets. Visit the Pontifical Shrine of the Blessed Virgin of the Rosary of Pompeii. Evening in Naples: Arrive in Naples. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3 | Tuesday, October 28: Naples to Monte Gargano (via Pietrelcina)

Morning: Visit the Sanctuary of St. Padre Pio of Pietralcina. Tour this charming town and visit Casa Natale di Padre Pio, Piana Romana, Convent of Friars Minor Capuchin of Pietrelcina, Camino del Rosario, Cappella di San Francesco d’Assisi, and Chiesa Santa Maria degli Angeli. Evening in Monte Gargano: Arrive at Monte Gargano, the site of the Shrine of St. Michael the Archangel, and settle in for your retreat. Transfer to San Giovanni Rotondo for dinner and overnight.

Days 4 & 5 | Wednesday & Thursday, October 29 & 30: Monte Gargano (Retreat)

Spend these days in spiritual reflection and rejuvenation. Highlights of the retreat include: Shrine of St. Michael the Archangel: Attend Mass and explore this sacred site, which has been a destination for pilgrims for centuries. Personal Time: Engage in prayer, meditation, and contemplation in the serene surroundings.

Day 6 | Friday, October 31: Monte Gargano to Rome (via San Giovanni Rotondo)

Morning: San Giovanni Rotondo: Visit the resting place of St. Padre Pio, see his relics, and explore the modern church dedicated to his memory. Afternoon Journey to Rome: Return to Rome for the final evening of the trip. Dinner and overnight in Rome.

Day 7 | Saturday, November 1: Rome

Morning: St. Peter’s Basilica: Marvel at Michelangelo’s dome, the breathtaking Pietà, and the grandeur of the world’s largest church. Learn about its role as a symbol of Catholicism. Vatican Museums: Explore one of the most extensive art collections in the world, culminating with the awe-inspiring Sistine Chapel ceiling painted by Michelangelo. Afternoon: Visit the famous Catacombs of St. Callixtus and then, Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls dedicated to St. Paul, with its stunning mosaics and cloisters. Dinner and overnight in Rome.

Day 8 | Sunday, November 2: Rome

Morning: Admire Castel Sant’Angelo and enjoy panoramic views of Rome from its terraces. Santi Michele e Magno: Visit this church, a Dutch pilgrimage site, known for its ties to St. Michael and rich medieval art. Afternoon: Walking tour around Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and two of the main Basilicas of Rome: Basilica of St. John Lateran: Explore the first basilica built in Rome and the official seat of the Pope, with its intricate sculptures and ancient baptistery. Holy Stairs (Scala Sancta): Climb the sacred stairs believed to have been brought from Jerusalem by St. Helena, which Jesus ascended during his trial. Basilica of St. Mary Major: Marvel at the 5th-century mosaics and the relics of the Holy Crib. Evening: Visit Santa Maria della Concezione dei Cappuccini Church: visit the Capuchin crypt, decorated with human bones in an artistic display symbolizing mortality. Dinner and overnight in Rome.

Day 9 | Monday, November 3: Rome and Departure

Transfer to the airport for your return flight home. End of services.
