CURRENT SITUATION IN ISRAEL
Pilgrimages to Israel have been postponed:
As we continue to closely monitor the heartbreaking situation in Israel, we pray for peace and for all of those suffering from this terrible violence, especially our Christian brothers and sisters.
We are grateful to share that all of our pilgrims who were on pilgrimage to the Holy Land have safely departed. At 206 Tours, the safety of our pilgrims is our utmost priority and we thank you for your understanding as we seek to care for the well-being of each of our tour groups.
With this in mind, due to the terrorist attacks and escalation of violence, we have had to cancel all departures to Israel until at least November 5, 2023, but probably beyond. It is very likely that cancellations may extend after this date; we will advise accordingly. For questions regarding an upcoming Holy Land pilgrimage, or to cancel or postpone your pilgrimage, we encourage you to contact your account manager so that they can assist you.
We recognize that these unexpected events have been a great disappointment for all who have anticipated and prayed to go on pilgrimage to the Holy Land. However, we continue to work closely with the Israeli government and other authorities in order to receive updates and will share more information as we are able. As we pray for peace, our hope is that we may welcome you back to the Holy Land soon.
Let us join in prayer for all those affected by this terrible war, and that Our Lady and her Divine Son Jesus will protect all of our guides and partners who remain in Israel with their families. We pray for peace and a swift resolution to this conflict.
Official Statement from Israel Government: State of Emergency – instructions regarding tours
