About Ivan Dragicevic
Ivan is the older of the two boys, who allegedly sees Our Lady. He was born on May 25, 1965 in Bijakovici. Our Lady has allegedly appeared to him every day since June 24, 1981. Our Lady has confided nine out of the ten secrets to Ivan, as well as given him his prayer mission; to pray for priests, families, and the youth of the world. Currently, Ivan is married to his wife, Laureen, and they have four children. Ivan resides in both, the village of Medjugorje and the US, equally separating his time at each residence.
Ivan:
“The apparitions made a big difference in my life – the difference between heaven and earth. For example, I arrange my day now so that even during the day I find time to pray. Before, my life had no meaning. Now, I’m filled with inner contentment. The first time I saw Our Lady, a change occurred in my soul, and in my heart. Before, I often avoided prayer, but now the difference is so great, I really can’t describe it. I’m confident and not afraid, because I know who leads me, and therefore, I’m not afraid of death. People in our parish, and all people, should feel that way.”
The Vatican has issued a decree stating that a Plenary Indulgence will be granted under the usual conditions for those who travel on a Pilgrimage to the Church of St. James in Medjugorje, and devoutly participate in the Jubilee rites and / or pious prayers. This decree is valid until the conclusion of the Jubilee Year on Jan. 6, 2026.

Itinerary
Day 1 | Wednesday, September 3: Depart for Medjugorje
Make your way to your local airport, where you will board your overnight flight. Your meals will be served on board.
Day 2 | Thursday, September 4: Arrive in Medjugorje
Upon arrival in Europe, change gates to board your short connection flight to either Dubrovnik, Split, or Sarajevo airport. Upon arrival, collect your luggage in the baggage claim area and continue to the arrival hall. You will be greeted by a tour guide and/or driver who will take you on the 2.5-hour drive to the village of Medjugorje. Enjoy dinner before retiring for the evening.
Days 3 - 9 | Friday - Thursday, September 5 - 11: Experiencing Medjugorje
Over the next few days, you will experience the peace and beauty of Medjugorje while staying at Ivan, the visionary’s home. A local guide will accompany your group throughout your stay in the village. Some activities include attending daily Mass, climbing Apparition Hill, climbing Cross Mountain, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the Apparitions, visiting the Community of Cenacolo, and praying before the Statue of the Risen Christ.
Day 10 | Friday, September 12: Medjugorje - USA
After an early breakfast and heartfelt farewells, you will leave by motor coach for Dubrovnik, Split or Sarajevo Airport for your return flight(s) home.
