About Fr. Peter Dugandzic:
Fr. Peter Dugandzic, S.T.D., is a priest of the Diocese of Rockville Centre. Before his reversion and call to the priesthood, Fr. Peter received degrees in computer science and psychology. After graduating college, he worked for Grumman Aerospace Corporation for 5 years. He entered the seminary in 1990 and was ordained a priest in 1995. After a 5 year assignment as an associate pastor at St. William the Abbot in Seaford, NY, he served 3 years as an associate at St. Mary’s in Manhasset. In 2003, Bishop Murphy sent him to the Catholic University in Washington DC where he received a Licentiate in moral theology. In 2006 he went to Rome and continued his studies at the Academia Alfonsia, where he received his doctorate in moral theology. Upon returning from Rome in 2009, he was named pastor of Blessed Sacrament in Valley Stream NY, where he served for 10 years. In 2019 he was transferred to St. Joseph parish in Kings Park NY where he continues to serve. Fr. Peter made his first pilgrimage in 1986 to Medjugorje and Rome. Since that time, he has made at least one pilgrimage each year and, since being ordained a priest, continues to make pilgrimages every year as a spiritual director.

Itinerary
Day 1 | Wednesday, September 3: Depart for Medjugorje
Make your way to your local airport, where you will board your overnight flight. Your meals will be served on board.
Day 2 | Thursday, September 4: Arrive in Medjugorje
Upon arrival in Europe, change gates to board your short connection flight to either Dubrovnik, Split, or Sarajevo airport. Upon arrival, collect your luggage in the baggage claim area and continue to the arrival hall. You will be greeted by a tour guide and/or driver who will take you on the 2.5-hour drive to the village of Medjugorje. Enjoy dinner before retiring for the evening.
Days 3 - 9 | Friday - Thursday, September 5 - 11: Experiencing Medjugorje
Over the next few days, you will experience the peace and beauty of Medjugorje while staying at Ivan, the visionary’s home. A local guide will accompany your group throughout your stay in the village. Some activities include attending daily Mass, climbing Apparition Hill, climbing Cross Mountain, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the Apparitions, visiting the Community of Cenacolo, and praying before the Statue of the Risen Christ.
Day 10 | Friday, September 12: Medjugorje - USA
After an early breakfast and heartfelt farewells, you will leave by motor coach for Dubrovnik, Split or Sarajevo Airport for your return flight(s) home.
