Thanks so much Rinda,
I am sorry for not letting you know sooner how our pilgrimage was – but – anyway, we had such a great time and we will do another tour with you once again someday.
Please congratulate Daphne (Paris guide) and Susan (Lourdes guide) for such a wonderful job.

Hi, Ketta,
Feedback with regard to the pilgrimage to Medjugorje during the first week in November with Wayne Wieble. I had a wonderful time and thought the trip was very well organized. We had great food at Pansion Ana and the accommodations were good. Our tour guide, Slavenka, was wonderful. She provided the history of the region which put things into perspective. I truly look forward to going again. It probably won’t be until 2005, however. I will use 206 Tours when I go. I have already recommended 206 Tours to my boss and her husband who are thinking about a similar trip.
Best wishes for a happy and blessed Christmas.

I agree completely with fellow pilgrims Paul and Bernadette, who sent you that great feedback on Nov. 29. It was my very first pilgrimage, and I hope I will be able to join other pilgrimages in the future.
Thank you, Rinda, for all your help in getting the four of us join the group since we did not apply until the last hour. You were always most helpful.
I love the trip very much and I can’t refrain from recommending 206 Tours. As of last night, I am happy to say that 6-8 of my other friends are talking about the possibility of joining one of your tours in November.
May you and all the members of the 206 Tours have a happy and blessed holiday season.
Thanks again.

Thanks to our three children who initiated and under wrote this fantastic pilgrimage as our 50th wedding anniversary present, we have had a trip of a lifetime! And thanks to 206 Tours, we experienced a flawless trip from the moment we departed from Dulles airport (a mere 15 minute ride from our home) to the time we arrived home 15 days later.
In addition to the planned tour, we have formed new and hopefully lasting relationships with fellow believers from the Northwest and Northeast, Hawaii, Texas, and nearby West Virginia. E-mails will keep us together.
It was convenient for us to travel via Dulles, and timely that we were in Lourdes just before my wife, Bernadette’s, birthday. This was particularly meaningful as she was named at a troubled birth after being blessed with Lourdes water.
The tour guides who sheparded us in Portugal to Lourdes and from Nice to Rome were first rate — professional, yet personal and friendly, almost like having a family member show us around. The local guides in Lourdes, Sienna, Assisi and Rome were most thorough and informative as well.
The task ahead for us is to combine our daily diary with the hundreds of picture (undeveloped as yet) to coherently share our experience with others. You can be sure the 206 Tours will be mentioned with high praise.
On a personal note, I usher at Mass every Sunday with a professional travel agent who had assured me before we departed that we were in the hands of a top flight travel organization who did things first class. We both agree with that assessment.
Any negatives? Just the fact that we were worn out from travel the first day in Lisbon/Fatima, but after a good night’s rest we kept up with the busy pace the following two weeks.
Thank you 206 and Rinda.

Hi Rinda,
The trip was wonderful. My one wish was that there not be so much moving. I really like to stay in one place longer.
However I know that the people want to see it all, so…. To note, the tour guide, Gaia, was wonderful as was the tour guide in Rome.
I would encourage requesting them both in the future. The guide in Rome was Maximilian. The hotels were very good and of course the food was great. Did you ever try a meal out in a restaurant in Rome for the last night. It would be a nice touch.
The people were lovely. Hopefully we will be able to work on another trip in the future. God bless you and all you do to make these pilgrimages possible for so many.
Gratefully,

How is your new offices? I trust your new offices will be a good omen for greater success in the coming months.
My pilgrimage to Guadalupe was a good one. Your local contractor did everything right. They have very personable guides and my group was very happy. The Only * snag was the delay in getting to Mexico from Houston due to weather conditions in Houston.
Hopefully your telephone problem gets solved by Monday.

Hi Rinda, how are you?
I would like to say thanks for everything you did in helping me attend this Pilgrimage from Lourdes through Paris. The whole group was great, and everything went perfectly. It was a great experience that I won’t forget, and I feel that I’ve grown from it. And it was good to have gone in the low season so that it was quietter and not as busy. We also had some hilarious situations with French people!
The guides were wonderful, both Sue and Daphne! So kind, helpful, and fun!
This is my second tour with 206 Tours and both have been fun and memorable, and I will recommend it to others. Thanks again for everything, we’ll probably be in touch again in the future. I was thinking to visit the Shrines in Poland next year.

Dear Ketta,
I am pleased to inform you that the trip to Southern Italy and Sicily was a huge success. Everyone enjoyed themselves and there were no major problems or complaints. Allow me to evaluate things on an individual basis:
Flight: Everyone seemed pleased with the service on Alitalia (especially me in Magnifica class!). It was indeed a pleasure to fly directly to Italy and not go via Frankfurt!!
Tour guide: Our guide Luigi was the best. I don’t think you can find a nicer individual. He was competent, experienced, professional, kind and thorough. I would recommend him highly. He was also very thoughtful and helpful to our clients in the wheel chairs. Everyone commented an how wonderful he was.
Bus driver: Antonio was a very accomplished driver and an extremely pleasant gentleman. He was also very kind and attentive to all our clients. He too, was very helpful to the individuals in the wheel chairs. Everyone had Only * nice things to say about him.
Land Agent: I would just like to note that in the four years I have been dealing with 206, this is the first time that the Land Operator called to speak with me. Danielle was very anxious to check and see if all was well. I thought that was very nice of him. He truly runs a very good company.
Hotels: Amalfi: Excellent. Rooms were great. Service was wonderful. Food was delicious. Location was superb. The Only * comment I will make is that many of the rooms were located away from the main building. Perhaps some people would not like that. However, rooms were available in the main building.
Taormina: The best location in all of Taormina. The rooms for the most part were individual cabins. They were in need of renovation. The beds were small cot type. My room needed repairs, and one day the towels were old and worn. The service was very good and the food was great. Again the location was beautiful. It was right behind Isola Bella. Again, there was considerable walking from the lobby to the rooms, as well as from the front door to the lobby itself (stairs and hallways).
Agrigento: Very nice. Not fancy but clean and adequate. Food and service were wonderful.
Palermo: This Hotel is under renovation. The lobby and dinning rooms and public areas were finished and were beautiful. The rooms were not done, and were in need of renovation. They did accommodate the wheel chair people with suites that were completed and were beautiful. Food and service was great!
In conclusion Ketta, we had a great time. We were comfortable, we ate well, we had wonderful tours and religious experiences, and we were in the hands of accomplished professionals. Thank you Ketta for all your hard work in organizing this trip. You always do a terrific job! I look forward to next year’s adventure.
Sincerely,
Paul

Dear Ketta,
I would like to thank you for helping us put together our recent trip to Medjugorje, Lourdes, Garabandal, Santiago de Compostela, and Fatima.
You were very helpful, informative, patient with all my questions and accommodating to all my requests. All our guides and drivers were very nice, helpful and efficient. Accommodations were clean, comfortable, and at very good locations. Except for some glitches in our flight, it was a very nice and wonderful trip that all of us enjoyed and will treasure; full of good and fun memories; spiritually, physically, and mentally uplifting.
Iko and Ana were both superb. They were very accommodating to all our needs. Their Pansion was clean, spacious and comfortable. It has everything we needed. Slavenka was right. Ana is a good cook.
We had a very early flight from Split to Medjugorje that is why we did not even bother to sleep the night before. A couple of the passengers had minor problems at Split airport which Slevanka helped smooth out.
We found Carlo waiting when we arrived in Toulouse at 5:30 p.m. He told us that two-third of our passengers did not get their luggage. Carlo drove us to our hotel in Lourdes and as we were driving towards the hotel, we passed by our group coming back from celebrating the first Mass in Lourdes. They were so happy to see us. They had no idea what was happening to us and did not expect to see us the same day. All three of us were exhausted but since it was Sunday, we managed to attend the 11:00 pm Mass, and Mass at the Grotto on Sunday. The luggage arrived that same night except for two. One more arrived the following day. The last one did not arrive until seven days later on our second day in Santiago de Compostela. Susan did not stop following up on that delayed luggage even when we were already gone to Spain. Both Susan and Rosa tirelessly called the airline to inquire about the luggage until it was found. Rosa went to the airport to pick it up.
Susan and Rosa were both very nice, went out of their ways to help us have a pleasant and enjoyable vacation, and very knowledgeable about their areas. In Lourdes, we all wanted to go up the Cross Mountain, which was not included in our itinerary. Susan accommodated us and went with us. Rosa worked hard especially in Garabandal making sure we got our luggage in our room to the extent of carrying them herself and these luggage are almost bigger than her, definitely heavier. At Lisbon Airport, Rosa was extra helpful. She did not leave until we were all checked in and had gone thru x-ray where she was not allowed to be with us anymore.
Carlos – the driver who was with us the longest was very careful, safety conscious, courteous, helpful and patient. Buses were comfortable and spacious.
Excellent choices of hotels – perfect locations, nice accommodations- everyone was pleased. No complaints even in Garabandal where our group had to split in two different locations. They were both nice places to stay.
All in all, we had a very pleasant and wholesome trip. It was both a vacation and a spiritual journey that we all enjoyed and will cherish for a long, long time.
Thanks again to you, to Milanka, to your entire team. If and when we plan another trip in the future, we sure will choose 206.

Milanka,
Now that I am on line here in DC I thought I would take a moment to thank you and your staff at 206 Tours.
As you know, I have traveled a fair amount and I must say that this trip was by far one of the best I have taken.
For the most part, there was nothing new on this trip for me. What did make me happy was how smoothly everything went.I was concerned that a group of this size would run into the inevitable problems but those problems just never materialized. I give the credit for that to you and the careful planning, hotel selection, etc. that you did on our behalf. I would also like to give a huge amount of credit to Suzanna. She certainly paid attention to every detail and she was always one or two steps ahead. Thank you for recommending her. She was especially helpful and understanding with the children.
Across the board everyone had nothing but praise for the trip (except for the hot weather which we could do nothing about). The Only * complaints I received were with regard to the hotel in Rome. The accommodations were exceptional as was the ambiance. However, the evening meals left a great deal to be desired. They were OK but certainly were not of the quality expected.
All in all, it is the best group trip I have taken. I do owe that to the people I traveled with but I also owe that to you (not that I ever doubted you). So please accept my gratitude and I look forward to catching up with you soon.
Peace and Joy,
Fr. Peter

Hi Rinda,
Sorry for the late response, but I just opened my e-mail today.
Got back from Paris Tuesday p.m. I got my passport the day before. The people at the American Embassy in Paris were terrific! Everybody was very helpful and efficient. I was in and out of there in one hour. The tour guides (from Fatima up until Paris) were also very helpful and concerned. The tour guide in Paris (Claire) paid for the hotel bill in Paris and said she’d inform me later if I had to pay. I mentioned this to Pat (insurance) and she told me to submit all the receipts to her and she’d check what she could do about them.
The tour was both spiritual and informative. I really enjoyed every minute of it despite what happened in Spain. Next time I will just be doubly careful. I think I was just caught off-guard in Spain because I had a terrific time in Portugal. Portugal was just perfect, from the hotel (Santa Maria) to the food and, of course, the people. I just wish I was warned that Spain was another story. After the robbery I was told there are lots of gypsies in Spain who were always on the look-out for people like me (careless first-timers).
Anyway, everything’s back to normal now. I will be getting my credit card replacements and my new cell phone in a few days. I also went to the DMV to get my new ID. I already have my passport pictures and all I have to do is send them together with my temporary passport, and they’re going to send me my new passport. To make a long story short, I’m ready for my next trip!
Is there any way you can send me the 2004 206 Tours Brochure? If it’s not asking too much, can you send me two so I can give the other one to Mr. and Mrs. Ignacio?
Thank you for all your help and prayers. It’s been a wonderful experience doing business with you.
Regards,
Julie

Hello Kim,
I’ve been busy since I have been back. The memory of a beautiful pilgrimage has not faded at all. I have to say that for my husband and myself the pilgrimage was wonderful! The time that we spent was prayer filled and spiritually uplifting. God is good – all of the time.
Our hotel accommodations were wonderful. They were clean, spacious enough and they were quiet. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the service for the most part was terrific. Tom and I had no complaints. Experiencing different cultures is always exciting. We were a fairly large group and we were sometimes delayed due to travel and we were never aware of any problems.
In particular our experience with Javier and Pedro was extraordinary. They were wonderfully accommodating and loving. We found them both to be full of fun and we had a great many laughs. They took care of emergencies with patience and with care. They kept an eye on the younger members of our group who looked to go out at night and they stayed with them and kept them safe. And they were fabulous company and guides for all of us. We were very comfortable asking them questions on all topics. They respected and participated in our prayer times and they joined with us as we played. One day in particular Javiar even bought lunch for some of us who had not been able to exchange our money and he would not accept reimbursement from us either.
They went out of their way to help us when the banks were closed and we needed help finding where and when we could change our American money into Euro’s. This proved to be a difficult situation because of the way the days of various holiday’s fell and the fact that at siesta time the banks closed. Banking hours did not coincide with our travel times. The hotels we stayed in could not or would not change our money. We were a large group. Most of us could not change our money at all until we arrived in Avila almost one week into our trip. However I took it as a sign that perhaps we were not there to shop!
Our other guides were nice but they had a very tough act to follow we really would have loved it if Javiar and Pedro could have continued the journey with us.
We did a lot and we traveled a long distance in the 2 weeks that we were away. Fatima and Lourdes were all we had hoped they could be. Our rooms were located very close to wherever we needed to go and we were able to walk safely without getting lost. There were many places that we would like to return to like Avila and Nevers- there just was not enough time. Our hotel in Paris was a bit of distance from the center of the city and we could not go to the city that easily by ourselves. After the simple beauty of the spiritual highs of the rest of the journey however, Paris did not hold much magic for us.
The buses were new and comfortable and the drivers were very experienced. Pedro, in particular could maneuver that bus in one attempt into places I could never get my little car. It would have been nice to have a bathroom on the coach buses but perhaps that is not done in the same way we do over here in the USA. The guides and drivers were generous with our stops so that we could stretch our legs and move about considering the long distances we needed to travel.
Was our luggage misplaced in the beginning of our pilgrimage? Yes, but that is all part of the experience. You did prepare us and advised us to carry that change of clothing in our carry on. We thank you. Perhaps our Lady was telling us clearly that we needed to leave a lot of our baggage behind! Most of us got the message. It was and experience that we will never forget. We look forward to traveling with 206 again. Thank you for providing us with the opportunity to go.
God Bless

Dear Ketta,
I just wanted to share with you that our trip to Portugal, Spain and France this summer was wonderful. It was a real joy working with you in putting this trip together. Your patience and attention to every detail was such a help. Also, our tour guide in Portugal and Spain, Javier, was the best. I have been on many pilgrimages over the past seven years but I have never come across a tour guide like him.
Everyone in the group was touched by his genuine care of each member. Many times he went above and beyond the call of duty. He was the most thoughtful, caring and loving tour guide we have ever had. He was truly a part of our group. He prayed with us, laughed with us and even cried with us. He is a wonderful human being. His wife and two children are truly blessed. Thank you for brining him into our lives. Once again, thank you Ketta for all your hard work.

This trip has been life changing! Aside from the fact that it was so much fun being with Father Charles and Father Tony, the whole experience was first class. Even with the luggage being lost and all the other small mishaps that came about we always had fun with it all. The hotels were beautiful. Avila was too short of a stay (the most spectacular scenery of the trip). 206 Tours will always be my choice of travel. Please Thank Milanka personally for me, even though my kids complained before we went they even enjoyed it. We made lasting friendships and God was very, very good to us. My Only * regret was not going on the extended trip to Paris. I now know for the next time. Dear Rinda,
I should be the one thanking you for being so patient with me while we were in the process of signing up with 206 Tours. I know Billy Ryan was probably insulted when I e-mailed him questioning the legitimacy of 206 Tours. You have to understand that this is my very first transaction on the internet, notwithstanding my lack of knowlege in using the computer. He did not get back to me after my e-mail of questions, which were never answered. I did not know how to “click” to the different sites you have on your website, that is why I never checked referrals. Now I definitely know how to. Furthermore, paying through PayPal was just a horrific experience. The amount I had to give to some place I have not heard before, was scary. Try to put yourself in my shoes, so to speak, and I hope you will understand my point.
We got back from our Tour last Saturday, and I would say that we had a wonderful time. Of course, in anything, nothing is perfect; but cannot totally be avoided. Our experience in Lourdes and Paris, seeing all the different basilicas and museums, is something I cannot explain. The tour guides were very professional and knowledgeable. The driver who picked us up from Toulouse airport was very patient, considering we had a 2-hour delay. The food was good, except for that second night in Paris when they served a “lousy” menu. Hardly anyone from the group ate. The hotels were more than what we expected.
I would definitely recommend 206 Tours to my friends and family, and to be honest with you, I would like to take another trip in the future, maybe to Fatima and Spain or Italy, through 206 Tours.
Again, thank you very much for your patience, understanding, and consideration. I will call on you again when we are ready for the next pilgrimage.
Best regards and God Bless you.

Hello everyone from 206 Tours:
I just recently got back from the northeast that is why this note took so long. My mother and I had a wonderful trip in July via Tour 12 which you all had arranged. It definitely exceeded my expectations. I guess I was expecting good transportation from one area to another and decent hotel reservations made, etc., but the tour, for me, was a genuine spiritual pilgrimage. I thoroughly enjoyed the daily private masses. Our spiritual director, Fr. Bill Wilson was awesome! Everyday, he gave such wonderfully moving homilies that were pertinent to our lives. Equally, he made The Stations of the Cross so very meaningful! The hotels you chose in Fatima and Lourdes were both wonderful.
The rooms were very clean and extremely comfortable, and the services were excellent. I was however disappointed in the hotel in Burgos, Spain. Our bathroom shower didn’t work and there were no attempts by the people at the desk to remedy the problem. We were very happy with the choice of bus which transported us from one city to another. It was quite spacious inside and certainly very comfortable. Additionally, the bus driver was very pleasant and helpful at all times. Our tour guide in Portugal and Spain was excellent. She was very knowledgeable in all aspects of the tour and connected very well with all of the tour group members. We didn’t really get to know our tour guide in Lourdes as well. I will be off again to Europe the end of this month. This time it will be with my husband and children, and the destination will be Prague and Budapest. I will certainly be comparing this trip with the Tour #12.
Thank you for the work that you do. Below is the name and address of someone I know, who is also interested in going on a pilgrimage tour to Europe……….

Dear Rinda,
My friend Coleen and I had a wonderful time on our pilgrimage. Fr. Wilson was a great spiritual director and our Masses at all the pilgrim sites were very meaningful. The food in Lourdes was great; the hotel was impressive. The food in Paris (dinners) were not as good, but the hotel was very nice. The tour guide in Paris (Claire) was very informative and fun to travel with. I’ll certainly check with your company for future tours.
Thanks and God Bless,
Tom Gillespie

Dear Mrs. Kanidinc:
The tour was awesome, inspiring, fabulous, educational, exciting, invigorating, and joy filled. I was truly thrilled to participate. Please consider me in the future if you ever need another spiritual director. I am very thankful for the great planning, guides, and services afforded the group. The tour was exceptional!!

Hello, Rinda.
I had a wonderful time on the tour and was very pleased with the arrangements made by 206 Tours.
Our tour guides were exceptional.
The Only * suggestion I can think of at this point is to avoid scheduling a touring day after the group has had Only * a half-night of sleep. When we arrived in Paris, we had our first tour, which lasted several hours, and many of us slept through a good portion of it, despite the fact that we tried to stay awake. I am guessing our schedule was cramped because we were
booked to leave Paris a day earlier than the usual 8-day itinerary listed on the web.
Overall, I was very happy with the trip, and I would definitely use 206 Tours again. In fact, I plan to call the number listed on the 206 web site to learn how to ‘create’ a tour for a particular group of people, as I would like to plan a trip for next summer for my extended family members.
Thanks again for your service, Rinda.
In Christ,
Jan George

Rinda,
The Senas had a wonderful time on their pilgrimage. Mrs. Sena said it was so much more than they expected. Thank you for working with us on such short notice, and especially for arranging for the Senas to recite their wedding vows in Assisi. Their pilgrimage was very memorable as a result. They also loved Father Dillon. They thought he was just excellent.
The tour was a big success, albeit small in numbers.

Dear Rinda,
You may recall that we were originally booked for Tour #13. Definitely, the substitution of Tour #14 was a very good one. In addition to Fatima, we were able to return to Lourdes and Rome (both for the fourth time) which we really planned to do sometime in the future. And we got to visit Sienna and Assisi which we never planned on doing at all – both places were definitely worth seeing. The length of stay in each place was just right: it provided us just the right amount of time for meditation. The hotels were of acceptable quality with the exception of the one in Nice, Hotel Albert 1er. That hotel should never again be considered by your firm. The hotel locations were excellent. Rosa was good and adequate and trained us to be very prompt, which enabled us to be on schedule throughout our tour; but Karin was an excellent guide – very knowledgeable with a very good command of English and a good sense of humor. She also attended to all our needs and followed up our airline reservations. Carlo in Lourdes was just so-so. Our drivers from Portugal to Lourdes, Joachim, and from Nice to Rome, Miguel, were both very good and careful drivers, cordial and friendly. But our driver from Lourdes to Nice should never be considered at all in the future: he drove too fast and once at Nice just dumped our luggage on the sidewalk, received tips and left us without making arrangements, making us to bring them to our own rooms ourselves. .
Best regards.

Dear Rinda,
Thanks so much for all the hard work you put into our pilgrimage. It paid off. The pilgrimage went really well, and I was amazed to see the powerful effect Our Lady’s presence had on some first-timers. Slavenka was splendid — and, by the way, her wedding anniversary (#13, I think) came in the middle of our stay. The Pahers were gracious and helpful in every way possible.
The heat was incredible, but even more incredible was the fact that my mother tolerated it very well (at home she doesn’t). We had one unpleasant incident with a Lufthansa representative at JFK, which I have recounted to Milanka. On the return trip, the connection in Frankfort was very tight, but we made it at the last possible moment. They then held the flight longer to load some baggage, which I presume was ours. Jim McAuliffe was confused by his flights and didn’t understand about the lateness of his signing on and the difficulty of finding flights, etc. He thought he would be left on his own in Sarajevo, and was pleasantly surprised to find the driver waiting for him. Calvin (I forgot his last name) began to panic when our bus was about to leave for Dubrovnik at 2 a.m. and his car hadn’t arrived. I didn’t know what to do or who to call at that hour, but fortunately the car did arrive a few minutes later. I have noticed that pilgrims, whether with 206 or with someone else, sometimes don’t understand why connecting flights are arranged as they are and the complicated factors that are involved. A couple of years ago there was a big uproar here in New York among the people who had arranged to go to Rome for the consistory where Cardinal Egan was made a cardinal. They couldn’t understand why they had to go to Rome via Paris or whatever.
Those are the Only * problems that are worth mentioning. Generally everyone was very impressed by how smoothly it all went. And Medjugorje itself — such an incredible joy for everyone!
You did a great job. Let’s do this again soon!

Father Bill

Dear Rinda,
This whole pilgrimage was a very excellent experience as regards the locations visited, shrines, etc. My daughter took a pilgrimage two years with Mediatrix Tours, who are no longer in business, and she says 206 tours was better in all ways.
I thought the best guide was Karen from Nice to Rome. The reason is, she took the time to know what people’s problems were. The guide in the cathedral in Burgos was very good. And the guide in Lourdes, Carlo, was very good also. Karen in Siena, Assisi and Rome did not know that much about the Catholic faith but she was a very likeable person. There was one incident where she cleared up a misunderstanding for me with an Italian waitress who did not speak English. We all felt friendly with Karen.
I hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Angela DeAlbuquerque

Dear Rinda,
I enjoyed Tour #1 to Medjugorje. I absolutely loved the local guide, Slavenka. She was so kind and knowledgeable.
The other people on the tour were very friendly and nice.
I liked the Pehar house where we stayed, too. The couple worked so hard to please us, and the food was great.
The trip to see Father Jozo speak in Sikorj Bresz (spelling?) was a highlight of the trip. Father Jozo will be a Saint someday for sure.
Father William Elder was a nice spiritual leader, also. Please let me know when Father Elder will lead another trip to Medjugorje.
Perhaps I will go again and bring my son Tommy, age 12, with me next time.
Thank you very much,
Carol Sullivan
