We will return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Seoul - Gwangju - Seoul

After breakfast, we will embark on a day trip to Chon Jin Am, the birthplace of Korean Catholicism. Reflecting on the lives of the Korean martyrs, we will walk along the Way of the Cross and explore the serene gardens of this significant shrine. We end the day with a visit to Gongseri Catholic Church, celebrated for its stunning blend of Korean and Western architecture and its historical significance as the site of 32 martyrs. Afterward, we will continue on to Cheonan to check into our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Cheonan – Seosan – Chilgok – Daegu

After breakfast, we will begin the day at Haemi International Sanctuary, a tribute to countless nameless Catholic martyrs, with time for prayer and exploration. We will continue on to Daegu and check into our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Daegu

We start the morning with a visit to Namsan-dong Catholic Town in Daegu, including time for prayer at Seongmodang Church and a stop at Daegu Cathedral. Day 9: Daegu - Busan

We depart Daegu and journey south to Busan, Korea’s second-largest city and a vibrant coastal metropolis. We begin with a moving visit to the UN Memorial Cemetery, a solemn site honoring the fallen of the Korean War. Next, we visit a local Catholic church—the Namcheon Cathedral— for prayer and spiritual connection. In the afternoon, we explore the lively and artistic Gamcheon Culture Village, where colorful houses line the hillsides in a maze of alleys and murals. We conclude the day with dinner in a local restaurant, enjoying an authentic Korean BBQ experience. Finally we will check into our hotel for overnight.

After lunch at a local restaurant, we will visit a local church in Suwon for prayer and reflection. We will return to Seoul for our farewell dinner and our final overnight.
