About our Saint Dominic Pilgrimages:
Join us on a journey in the steps of the Footsteps of Saint Dominic! Born in 1170 in present day Spain, St. Dominic was a Castilian Priest who founded the Dominican Order in 1215 in France. St. Dominic took on the mission to preach to the masses and dispel hearsay through the practice of tying life, to study, God, and prayer. His ideal “contemplata tradere” means to pass on the fruits of contemplation or to speak only of God or with God. On a Pilgrimage in Spain, see the Baptismal Font where Saint Dominic was Baptized. In Turin, Italy, visit his tomb. Or travel to Lourdes and learn more about Saint Dominic’s deep devotion to Our Lady. The Dominican Order has grown to almost six thousand members in it’s long history. On August 6, 2021, the 800th Anniversary of his death, we commemorate the life of Saint Dominic, and his lasting effect on the world. Join us by celebrating on Pilgrimage in the footsteps of Saint Dominic in 2021!
