Sample Day-by-Day Itinerary:
Day 1 - Depart USA
Depart from New York's JFK airport on your overnight flights to Turkey.
Day 2: Istanbul
Arrival and transfer to hotel. Welcome briefing.
Day 3: Istanbul
Full day tour to include: Topkapi Palace (excluding harem), Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, St. Sophia and the Grand Bazaar. Optional: Dinner with belly dancing entertainment. ( B)
Day 4: Gallipoli – Dardanelles – Canakkale
Morning departure for Gallipoli and visit Anzac Cove, Lone Pine Cemetery and Chunuk Bair, then across the Dardanelles to Canakkale for overnight.( B, D)
Day 5: Troy – Istanbul
Morning visit of Troy with its famous wooden horse, then drive back to Istanbul for overnight. (B)
Day 6 - Istanbul - USA
After breakfast transfer to the airport for your return flights home. (B)
Please Note: Sunday departure tours in May, Sep and Oct, will visit St. Sophie Cathedral in Istanbul, not during the full day tour of Istanbul which is Monday as it is closed, but on Tuesday before departing for Canakkale, Gallipoli area.
