Itinerary
Day 1 | Tuesday, February 18: Departure
Depart for Tel Aviv with complimentary meals and beverages served on-board.
*We kept all of the visits on your Tour, but in order to accommodate, we just had to change the “order” of some of visits.
Day 2 | Wednesday, February 19: Arrive Tel Aviv / Transfer to Tel Aviv
- – Arrive at Tel Aviv Airport
- – Transfer to your Hotel in Tel Aviv for check-in
- – Mass
- – Welcome Meeting with Guide
- – Dinner is the Hotel Restaurant
Day 3 | Thursday, February 20: Caesarea / Mount Carmel / Mount Tabor / Galilee
- – Breakfast at hotel, and then Check-Out
- – Travel to Caesarea Maritime
- – Continue to Mount Carmel and the Discalced Carmelite Monastery in Muhraqa
- – Lunch
- – Drive to Mount Tabor
- – Mass at the Basilica of the Transfiguration
- – Arrive at your accommodations in Galilee and Check-In
- – Dinner and Overnight
Day 4 | Friday, February 21: Sea of Galilee Sites
- – Breakfast at accommodations
- – Board your Boat ride on the Sea of Galilee
- – Visit the Jesus Boat Museum
- – Mass above the Eremos Cave, the likely spot of the Sermon on the Mount, with its stunning panoramic vista of the Sea of Galilee and view the site of the Seven Springs leading into the Sea of Galilee
- – Lunch at Pilgerhaus
- – Visit Capernaum and explore the Synagogue and the Church constructed over the site of Apostle Peter’s house
- – Visit the Church of the Loaves and the Fishes

Day 5 | Saturday, February 22: Galilee : Visits to Sepphoris , Nazareth & Cana

- – Visit the Basilica of Nativity and the Church of St. Joseph
- – Mass at the Chapel of the Convent of Sisters of Nazareth
- – Lunch is at the Sisters of Nazareth
- – Visit the Archaeological dig under the Convent
- – Visit Cana and the Franciscan Chapel where we invite couples to renew their Marriage vows
- – Return to our accommodations for Dinner and overnight
Day 6 | Sunday, February 23: Galilee : Visits to Caesarea Philippi, Golan Heignts & Decapolis
- – Breakfast
- – Travel to Banias National Park, biblical Caesarea Philippi, for a visit
- – Drive through the Golan Heights on the far side of the Sea of Galilee
- – Mass at the ruins of the Basilica of Kursi / outdoor
- – Lunch
- – Return to our accommodations for Dinner
*Visit to Sepphoris National Park.
*Given the itinerary and visits, there will not be enough time to visit the Park.
Day 7 | Monday, February 24: Galilee / Qasr al-Yahud / Jericho / Qumran / Dead Sea
- – Breakfast
- – Travel to Qasr Al-Yahud, the baptismal site where we renew our Baptismal vows
- – Visit Jericho and view the remains of one of the oldest cities in the world
- – Mass at Good Shepherd Church
- – Lunch is at Limoneh Restaurant
- – View the sycamore tree of Zacchaeus, and have the opportunity to ride a camel
- – Visit the ruins of the Essenes’ Monastery at Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were
- – Check-in to your hotel at the Dead Sea for dinner and overnight
Day 8 | Tuesday, February 25: Dead Sea / Beersheba / Monatery of Beit Jemal / Arrive Jerusalem
- – Breakfast
- – Swim in the Dead Sea
- – Visit the ancient site of Beersheba of the Biblical Negev
- – Lunch
- – Drive North to the Valley of Elah
- – Visit the Salesian Monastery of Beit Jemal and view the Valley of Elah where David slew Goliath.
- – Celebrate Mass in the Monastery in memory of St. Stephen (the first Christian Martyr)
- – Continue to our hotel in Jerusalem, check-in
- – Dinner tonight is at our hotel

*We kept this off the itinerary because the Church closes at 6:00 P.M. Based on that day, you will not be back in time to make the walk over and visit.
Day 9 | Wednesday, February 26: Jerusalem: Mount of Olives & Caiaphas House (St. Peter in Gallicantu)

- – Drive to the Chapel of the Ascension, then walk down the Mount of Olives to the Pater Noster Church and down the Palm Sunday path to the small Dominus Flevit Church
- – Mass at the Dominus Flevit Church
- – Prayer at the Garden of Ambo, Gethsemane
- – Visit the Basilica of Agony
- – Lunch
- – Cross the Kidron Valley to the House of Caiaphas and Upper Room
- – Return to our hotel for Dinner and overnight
Day 10 | Thursday, February 27: Jerusalem: Bethlehem & Bethlehem University )
- – Breakfast
- – Travel to Beit Sahour
- – Mass at the Shepherd’s Field / Big Grotto
- – Continue to Bethlehem University (short Tour)
- – Lunch in the home of a local Christian Family
- – Visit to Manger Square and the Church of the Nativity
- – Dinner is served at our Hotel
Day 11 | Friday, February 28: Jerusalem: Old City, Via Dolorosa
- – Breakfast
- – Mass at the Shrine of Ecce Homo
- – Walk, carrying a cross, the Via Dolorosa, the Way of the Cross, ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the site of Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection
- – Lunch
- – Time at leisure in the Old City
- – Dinner is served at your Hotel
Day 12 | Saturday, March 1: Jerusalem: Holy Seoulchre, Ein Karem & Leisure
- – Breakfast at hotel
- – Mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre / Blessed Sacrament
- – Lunch
- – Travel to Emmaus/Abu Gosh
- – Visit Ark of the Covenant Church, commemorating both the 20 year place of residence of the Holy Ark, and Mary, the new Ark of the Covenant
- – Return to Jerusalem for some leisure time
- – Dinner is served at our Hotel
Day 13 | Sunday, March 2: Jerusalem/ Abu Ghosh / Jaffa / Tel Aviv airport
- – Breakfast and then check-out of Hotel
- – Visit the Temple Mount (conditions permitting: open for visits from 7:30am – 10:30am)
- – Visit the Western Wall of the Second Temple
- – Lunch
- – Visit Ein Karem, the village of Elizabeth and Zechariah, parents of John the Baptist
- – Visit of Visitation Church and St. John the Baptist Church
- – Some free time in seaside town of Jaffa
- – Farewell dinner is at St. George Restaurant
- – Transfer to the Tel Aviv Airport to check-in for our flight, departing late evening
